Denplan Finance

Denplan care gives you an easy and affordable way to spread the cost of your routine preventative and restorative dental care. All routine Dental and hygiene visits as well as many treatments are covered. There’s also reduced fees for specialist treatments. You also get supplementary insurance to provide cover if you have a dental injury or dental emergency.

Your monthly fee band is determined by the likelihood that you will require treatment. This depends on your oral health as well as type and number of existing restorations. We carry out an assessment and fill out a form to determine the band. The bands are as follows:

What is Denplan?

Denplan is a payment plan that allows you to spread the cost of your private dental care. Denplan arranges payment plans and organises payments between you and your dentist.

When will my Denplan Care contract start?

Your dentist will agree a start date for your Denplan Care Contract with you. This date will be detailed on your Contract and will always be on the first day of the month.

What are my payment options?

You can choose to pay your fee monthly by Direct Debit or annually in advance either by Direct Debit, cash or cheque.

Is Denplan Care an Insurance Policy?

No. Denplan Care is a Contract between you and your dentist that lets your dentist provide ongoing preventative dental care. Denplan arranges, on your behalf, mandatory Supplementary Insurance.

Am I covered abroad?

All Denplan payment plans include Supplementary Insurance at no extra cost. This is arranged for you to provide cover towards the cost of dental treatment in the event of a dental injury or emergency, and can be used in the UK and abroad. If you are abroad and have a dental emergency, visit our dental emergency support page to find out what to do next. If you’re going on a trip abroad, it’s a good idea to make a note of your personal registration number (on your joining letter) and note down our 24-Hour Worldwide Emergency Helpline +441962 844999.

What does Denplan not cover?

Laboratory fees and perscriptions, referral to a specialist and specialist treatment e.g. orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatments or sedation.

Are there any Discounts available?

Yes. Where more than one family member is registered with Denplan at the same practice discounts apply:  Two Family members: 5%  Three Family Members: 10%  Four or more: 15%
