CHOOSE INVISALIGN FOR CROWDED TEETH

Crowded teeth can be a concern because they make it difficult to maintain proper oral hygiene, leading to issues like tooth decay, gum disease, and bad breath. Misaligned teeth can also cause discomfort, wear on enamel, and even impact your bite, potentially leading to jaw pain or headaches.

At Woodcroft Dental in Midhurst, we offer Invisalign as an effective solution for crowded teeth. Invisalign uses clear, removable aligners to gently straighten your teeth over time, without the need for metal braces.

RELATED DENTAL CONCERNS

Gapped Teeth

Gapped teeth can lead to bite issues, gum problems, and food trapping, increasing the risk of decay and affecting your smile’s appearance. Invisalign discreetly closes these gaps, creating a healthier, more even smile.

Overbite

An overbite is when the upper front teeth overlap the lower front teeth, leading to uneven wear, jaw pain, and potential tooth damage. Invisalign gently aligns your teeth and jaw, effectively reducing the overbite.

Crowded Teeth FAQ’S

  • What are crowded teeth?

Crowded teeth occur when there isn’t enough space in your mouth for all your teeth to align properly. This can cause teeth to overlap, twist, or be pushed forward or backward.

  • Why should I be concerned about crowded teeth?

Crowded teeth can lead to difficulties in cleaning, increasing the risk of cavities, gum disease, and bad breath. They can also cause uneven wear on your teeth, jaw pain, and may impact your overall bite.

  • How does Invisalign fix crowded teeth?

Invisalign uses a series of custom-made, clear aligners that gradually move your teeth into their proper position. Each set of aligners gently shifts your teeth over time, providing a comfortable and effective solution for overcrowding without the need for traditional braces.

  • How long does it take for Invisalign to correct crowded teeth?

The treatment time varies depending on the severity of the crowding, but most patients see results within 6 to 18 months. During your consultation, our team at Woodcroft Dental will provide an estimated timeline based on your unique needs.

  • Is Invisalign as effective as traditional braces for crowded teeth?

For mild to moderate cases of crowding, Invisalign is just as effective as traditional braces. We will assess your specific condition to determine whether Invisalign is the right treatment for you.

Your crowded teeth invisalign journey

Woodcroft Dental & Implant Clinic

Your consultation

Your Invisalign process begins with a consultation. During this appointment, we will evaluate your crowded teeth and discuss your dental history. We’ll take digital scans and images to create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Your treatment

We create digital images based on each stage of your treatment. We then custom-make your aligners to fit your teeth throughout the process. Once your custom aligners are ready, you’ll wear them for 20 to 22 hours a day, only removing them for eating and cleaning. Each set of aligners is designed to gradually shift your teeth into their proper positions.

Aftercare

After finishing your Invisalign treatment, you’ll need to wear a retainer, which helps preserve the new position of the teeth. We’ll also support you during and after your teeth-straightening treatment.
