The treatment targets the muscles through the use of a special toxin, which actually has a paralysing action. Don’t worry – when used cosmetically, only a tiny amount is injected into the skin, which means that movement is reduced rather than frozen.

How painful is treatment?

That’s why we use extremely fine needles in our treatment, and we can also administer a numbing agent to reduce sensation at the same time. Of course, as with any injection, there’s a chance your skin might feel red and sore afterwards – but through our expert aftercare advice, you can prevent (or reduce) side effects like swelling and bruising.

How long do results last?

With anti-wrinkle injections, results develop in a matter of weeks, and typically last 3-4 months. However, everyone is different. We’d advise booking a follow-up around the 3-month mark to plan for when you might need a top-up.
